HER STORY

Anna “Ania” Szymanska is a Chicago based creative artist specializing in balloon décor and special fx makeup. Since she migrated to the United States from Poland with one suitcase and not one word of english nearly 20 years ago—she’s achieved becoming a self-taught business woman and reputable makeup artist. From 2015 until prior to COVID-19 Ania has had the privilege to be a part of some of Chicago’s most biggest event production teams and venues such as BAM Creates, Zhantra Entertainment, R I T U A L S, PRSYSM Nightclub, Celeste and many more! Creating has always been her passion and form of expressing her inner passion.

With the current pandemic’s cancellation of all major festivals and events she found a way to continue pursuing her passion for creating beautiful things and launched Anna Décor. Since April of 2020 she has single-handedly created and delivered over 200+ balloon pieces to families all over the Chicagoland area. Ania is a lover of bright colors, believer of achieving the impossible and a one woman army. She plans to continue sharing her magic with those around her and is excited for what’s more to come.
